SAI SHAOHUA(Silks House at Regent Taipei)
Chef Shaohua was born in 1975 in Yunlin Country, Taiwan. He started his career in Chinese cuisine at 16 at a Cantonese restaurant in Taipei. He later joined Regent Taipei but further trained elsewhere before rejoining Regent Taipei's main restaurant Silks House in 2012 as their Head Chef. He serves traditional Cantonese food with Taiwanese twists to distinguished guests from within and outside of Taiwan.
KEITA TARIKINO(Kappou Ukai)
Chef Tarikino was born in 1974 in Nagasaki Prefecture. After years of training in the Kaiseki style cuisine, he joined Ukai Corporation in 2006. He worked at Tofuya Ukai restaurant in Tokyo before moving to the new Kappou Ukai in Ginza, Tokyo, as their Head Chef in April 2014. In March 2018 Tarikino took on the task of opening Kappou Ukai Roppongi. He is now the Managing Chef for both restaurants. Chef Tarikino believes in the value of live interaction with customers across the serving counter, delivering exquisitely designed dishes of the best seasonal ingredients. He also contributes to global understanding of Japanese cuisine and development of younger Japanese chefs.

We accept payment in cash or by credit card only (VISA, JCB, American Express, Mastercard).
Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 business days prior to the Date of Dining. A 50% charge of the invoiced amount will be applied if cancelled within 48 hours; and no refunds will be made for cancellations made within 24 hours of the Date of Dining.
Table bookings are essential and must be made online through our Reservation System. We do not accept walk-ins.
